Vip 1 was one of my personal favorite movies because most of the characters were relatable, well written dialogues, goosebump inducing mass scenes and touching emotion scenes. When I heard dhanush is coming with its sequel, I was sceptical because he replaced the original director velraj with his sister in law soundarya rajinikanth who directed the mega disaster kochadaiyaan. And mostly sequels don't work in tamil unlike other indian languages.
